Prayer changes things...

I've been really trying to focus on a few important things. Things like: My interview for The World Race next week; Work, work and more work; Details for some fun trips in the next two or three months; Not obsessing over WR but praying and "resting" in God to work HIS plan; and most importantly, praying specifically for which "Route" I should pursue if God opens this door to serve in WR.

Well, when you have 11 countries in a Route and some overlap and some do not; what's a girl to do...PRAY!!! And praying I am, but I'm a slightly visual person...

Wall of Payer ~ 11 Countries in 11 Months

I have printed out the information WR provides for each country in a Route. There are 3 Routes leaving in January 2013 and I have a row for each. In the paragraphs, I've highlighted the possibilities of ministry that each country would include. It was very eye opening to me! My initial desires and even what I put on my application is not where my heart felt drawn to after reading the descriptions. I'm praying for God to make it very clear which countries and route He wants me a part of  if WR is a door He opens. For Him to show me the route that He can use me best in, as well, the route in which HE will work mightily IN me through. I desire NOTHING more than for CHRIST to be maginfied THROUGH me as HE works IN me!!

A verse someone sent me today that has been a favorite for quite a while 

but is fitting in lieu of current decisions:

"You will make known to me the path of life;

In Your presence is fullness of joy;

In Your right hand there are pleasures forever."

                                 Psalm 16:11

Father God, I lay these countries before you - each place, person and the many needs they each hold. Please guide me in where YOU would want me, if serving with The World Race is the door you would have me walk through. Use them to change me to look more like You. At times that seems hard but that is what I want more than anything Lord. More than money, status, more than a great car or the best job - even more than a husband, although that is defiantly a desire for "one day" when you see fit:) Lord, let these places - the people - let them change me! Lord, teach me to LOVE people to LIFE!! And let it be ALL for You.
