The CROSS changes EVERYTHING!!!

The past few times I've heard this song on the radio I didn't really "hear" the words to this song. It was yet again a beautiful song playing in the background.

In light of some current struggles, reflecting on my past and waiting as I see what God has in store for my future; I found SO much comfort in this!! Today I heard it on my way into work - WOW!! The line that get's me EVERY TIME I hear it is: "Oh your cross it changes everything."

I couldn't possibly be more thankful for the cross --- or could I?? The CROSS that killed my precious Jesus CHANGED the WORLD!! It gives hope and a future. It gives a second chance. God gives Second Chances - PRAISE GOD!! But do I really cherish and cling to the cross as I should?!

Father God, help me understand to my deepest soul and being that the CROSS is more than two pieces of wood. Help me see the LOVE, FORGIVENESS, BEAUTY, BROKENNESS, REDEMPTION, MERCY, GRACE, NEW LIFE, and a SECOND CHANCE that the CROSS of Christ brings!!
