The past few days have been a bit on the stressful side - despite knowing God always provides the way HE has planned. It may not be how we envision Him providing - but He always does:)
Yesterday my stress came to a breaking point. There was no more calm and "trust" inside of me, it quickly became a meltdown of flowing tears. The thought of facing a second eviction in my life and possibility of living out of my car (with no gas in it) made all things feel hopeless.
This morning I received a text from a dear friend to call her when I was up and going, so I did. The first she said after chatting about the day was "How much is your rent?" I was a bit confused to the question and blurted it out without thinking about the method to her madness.She proceeded to say, "Ok. I'll be over later today with a check for you to pay your rent." I immediately thought, "WHAT?!?!? HOW?!? ARE YOU SURE?!? You can't do that!!" This is someone that has been in the SAME boat, just a year ago and I didn't understand how she could have so much money. I was totally blown away! I felt so sheepish but just replied with a simple "ooooookkkkkkk".
A friend to my rescue during my strange situation?!? Nay my friends...I'm just blessed:) This was a Jesus rescue I'm most certain!!!
